NaanOS

NaanOS is an text-based OS created in December 1st, 2020 by HuskyDelivery128. NaanOS was programmed on C and it was meant to look like how computers used to work in the 1980s.

The minimum requirements for NaanOS is: Base memory: 512-1024KB of RAM, Storage: 1-2 GB of Storage, Video Memory: 128KB, Sound: SoundBlaster 2, Needs network drive and also supports mouse and keyboard.

The first OS was released on December 1st, 2020 as in codename "Burger" (from 1.0 to 5.0). The latest version of the OS is 16.17 (Ginger) (August 15, 2025).

Also NaanOS has its own Bulletin Board System!

NaanOS works on: FranklyDOS (an DOS-OS created in 1983 by Frankly Technologies Inc), MS-DOS (an DOS-OS created in 1981 by Microsoft), DynamiteDOS (an DOS-OS created in 1986 by Harold and Joseph Inc), 86-DOS (an DOS-OS created in 1980 by Seattle Computer Products).

Where NaanOS works diffirently: Apple DOS (an DOS-OS created in 1978 by Apple Computers now called Apple), CommodoreDOS (an DOS-OS created in 1979 by Commodore International), PC-DOS (an DOS-OS created in 1981 by Microsoft).
